Rising Star Award
This annual award is presented to a commissioner who has completed a minimum of one year, but not more than six years of service as a board member.
The recipient of the Rising Star award has demonstrated exemplary performance in duties and responsibilities as a board member, while making a positive impact in the field of parks, recreation and conservation including involvement in IAPD activities. This award is presented during the awards luncheon at the annual IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference in January.
